Wes and I are celebrating our 5 year anniversary this week!!! We thought we'd start the celebration by going to Chelan for one night with some of our favorite people! Our favorite winery was releasing their MUCH anticipated first estate grown Nebbiolo (the first of its kind in Chelan). The guys have been waiting TWO YEARS for it! We just had to go!
So after my small anxiety "moment" the night before, and Wes reminding me it was just 24 hours away from Liv, we loaded up the car and enjoyed EVERY second.
One happy man.
We had a great night out! The bars are all dead in Chelan in the winter so we pretty much owned the whole bar. Good times!
At the end of the trip the three couples had two cases of wine to take home. YUM!

On our way home, we went to lunch in Leavenworth and visited one of our favorite wineries, Boudreaux Cellars. We had a long chat with Rob Newsom (owner). He even let us down into the barrel room and we barrel tasted three of the most amazing wines!!! That's a big deal seeing as though he doesn't just do barrel tastings. We were also able to learn about the whole process of making wine.
