We had a very relaxing holiday. It was so nice to spend our last 4th as a family of three in the sun!
We decided last minute to check our big neighborhood block party (inflatable slides, hot dogs, small rides, cotton candy, etc.) and realized we'd JUST missed it by 10 minutes. Dang! So we spent the afternoon playing at the park, walking around our little town area and getting ice cream in the sun! It was perfection!

I made this flag cake for the neighborhood party (next door) that night. YUM!!!!! Such a fun idea.
All in all it was a chill day. Just the way we like it. Happy 4th!
