6 months!!

I say this every month but it's true...SHE'S SO SWEET!!! She's seriously the sweetest baby. Our little "Co" is such a joy. We call her sparky because that's what she is! She's a spark plug!! She's FULL of life, has crazy hair that stands up like she stuck her finger in a light switch, she's spunky, she gets these BURSTS of energy where she gets so excited she jumps and falls back while smiling and she has this sparkle in her eye that is so bright that it's hard to put it into words. She's our sparky.  We are really lucky. She's truly a delight and a very fun addition to the family.

Here's a little more about our baby:
- She found her toes! She loves to grab them and give them a talk.
- She's SUPER smiley. All you have to do is look at her and she'll give you a HUGE, whole face smile.
- She started eating solid foods (January 5). She seemed to like the oatmeal better than the banana. She really did a great job of swallowing first time!
- She's still sleeping well. She has three good naps a day (two 45 min to 1 hr naps and one big one that's 2.5 to 4 hrs) and sleeps from about 9 to anywhere from 6:30 to 9 am. She literally changes her wake up time daily.
- She's a still a talker and loves doing raspberries (sticking her tongue out and blowing). She talks the most when she thinks nobody is looking. She also does a lot of talking right before she falls asleep (which is absolutely adorable).  She's also started saying, "dadadadadada" which Wes loves!
- She's NEVER gets sick of being held. She likes to be in the middle of the action and doesn't want to miss a thing.  It's funny because Liv at this age was all about tummy time and finding her way around. She liked being held for a little bit, but was then lunging for the floor and couldn't wait to get down. Not so much with this little one! She'll kick and roll around on the floor for 10 mins or so and then she wants up to see what we are doing. I think we've got a center of attention type girl this time (COMPLETE OPPOSITE of Liv).
- She seems a bit more dramatic when it comes to hurting herself. When Liv would fall (from a sitting position), she'd flop down like it was nothing and roll over to keep going. If Colette flops down there are major crocodile tears that end the second you pick her up. It's actually really cute and I can't help but giggle a little when she does it because she clearly isn't hurt. In fact, most times she's falling onto pillows (as I've started putting more of those around her thinking it would make her cry less when she lost balance...not so much). haha!
- Poor thing gets kissed ALL. DAY. LONG. but doesn't really seem to mind. (again with how much she loves attention)
- When I bounce her to sleep (on a large exercise ball), she likes to slam her face in my armpit area and holds the neckline of my shirt. She holds it until I lay her down. She'll take all the snuggles she can get! Sometimes we put her down awake, but for the most part we baby her a bit and rock her to sleep. She's just so sweet! I can't handle it!
- She LOVES watching Liv play and dance around. She whips her head around looking for her and following her around the room.
- She's started to grab at Liv which is hilarious. When Liv comes in to kiss or tickle her, Colette immediately grabs Liv's hair or shirt and pulls her in to take a "bite".
- No teeth yet! Super drooly and seems to chew EVERYTHING.
- 6 Month stats:
Weight: 17 lbs (75th percentile)
Height: 27.5 inches (95th percentile)
Head: 18 inches (over 95 percentile)

Watching Nemo with her big sister!

I think she looks JUST LIKE Wes in this one.

Perfect shot of her crazy hair!

These next two pictures show you EXACTLY how she looks most of the day. She's been biting both her lips lately as I think her teeth are trying to come in.

Oh and if she isn't biting her lips, she's chewing on her fingers.

This girl gives out smiles like nobody I know.

Chatterbox!
