Parents' Weekend

Wes and I went to Lake Chelan this weekend with Dag Rune and Katrina for the spring wine barrel tasting event (all of the wineries took part in the event)!

After getting confirmation from 55748393 people that I'm not a horrible mom for leaving my angel for 24 whole hours, we decided to do it!

Boy am I glad we did. We had an amazing day of sun (85 degrees!), wine tasting (well, we did a little more than taste lol), good food and good company. It was really nice to have a few hours to ourselves to connect, chat, LAUGH, hold hands, kiss and most of all, RELAX. It's amazing how crazy life can get with a baby so it was really nice to step back and remember where we came from.

As much fun as it was, we were both DYING to get back to Liv the next morning. We missed her so much! It was funny because we went away, but ended up talking about her soooo much. She was on kiss and hug overload when we got home. (Thanks mom and Ken for watching her and Sam for us!)

We basically got there and posted up at our favorite winery for a good 4 hours of sitting at this table.


The view was amazing!


Wes is hands down ready to move there.

So, so fun! But SO happy to be home and back with our love. She's just too dang cute!
