Weekend Recap

We had another great weekend full of celebration!

We celebrated Katrina's birthday on Friday night with a family party. The food was AMAZING. We had an assortment of crab cakes roasted in mushroom caps, sweet potato wrapped prawns, black cod and a fabulous salad. Good times!
The celebration continued through Saturday with a great lunch of pho (Katrina's favorite) and an afternoon of primping as we went to my dad's to help Jo Jo (my sister Joelle) get ready for her homecoming dance. Wow, we felt REALLY old that night! LOL We helped with her makeup and took a ton of pics. She looked AMAZING. I am so proud of her! She has another dance next week too! Looking forward to that as well.

After the "dance prep," the four of us went to the 520 in Bellevue for some pre-dinner drinks. That place is so nice to sit and sip. The ambiance is wonderful and I always have a good time there. After some wine, we headed to Issaquah to eat at our FAVORITE restaurant, Sushiman! The food is soooooooooo fabulous. We were in HEAVEN with every bite.

On Sunday we did the typical errands, Costco, grocery store and ended the weekend with another wonderful episode of True Blood (our new favorite show by the way).

Great weekend!
