Good Weekend!

Katrina and I ran in the Railroad Days 10K this weekend! We did really well, ran the whole thing and made really great time. We were so proud of ourselves because the 6.4 miles was actually really easy. I was so relieved that our triathlon training was actually paying off! Only two more weeks! We are feeling so good about our training that we are considering doing another triathlon the weekend after our first one and possibly doing a half marathon in September! We are going to play it by ear though!

Here is a pic from before the race. The weather wasn't great, but actually turned out nice because it kept us cool.

That night, we decided to celebrate our great run by gaining back all of the calories we burned off and then some!

We went to the Snoqualmie Brewery for dinner and some fabulous beer. They have AMAZING food and their beer is fabulous! Between the four of us we got nachos, pizza, a hot dog and paninis! It was fabulous.

After the brewery, we met up with Dag Rune's friend and girlfriend who were in town from Utah. We all went to Finaghty's in our neighborhood and had a wonderful time! Gotta love the Irish Car Bombs there! Don't worry, mom, we walked home.

Good times!!!

Funny story: (or at least I think it is hilarious)
We were all having a great night enjoying our beverages and the bar had a singer/guitar player come in to play covers and anyone could yell out a request. Wes decided that he would yell out "JOHN MAYER" at the top of his lungs every time the guitarist finished a song. It was hilarious. My husband is a secret FAN. Just sayin'! LOVE It. Please watch video for a live description of Wes' love for John!

I miss witnessing these fab events firsthand!

If it's not fireworks over the 4th in the culdesac, Katrina crawling through windows (the year before) and now Marie's dissertation on Wes' infatuation with John Mayer...

And why do we all have alcohol related disclaimers in our posts...hmmhhh!
