Colette is seriously the cutest thing ever. She's such a sweet girl. I could kiss her face all day (oh wait, I already do!). Here's what she's up to at 12 weeks!
- Sleeping 6 hrs at night. Usually goes to bed around 10 and up around 4 for a quick feeding, then down again until about 8.- She's so alert and engaged it's unreal. She follows us around the room and loves to copy our facial expressions. When we stick our tongue in and out, she does it too. She's been doing this since 10 weeks!
- She's a chatter box and loves to have "talks" with us.
- She's a relatively smiley girl until she's hungry or over tired. This girl has a set of lungs and she's NOT afraid to use them!
- Literally the day after she turned 12 weeks her night time fussiness went away (THANK GOD)
- She's trying to roll and has been for a week or so. She gets SO FRUSTRATED when she can get all the way over (from her back). (UPDATE: She started rolling from her tummy on October 20, 2012! She's ALMOST able to get from her back to tummy. Any day now)
- She's a mommy AND daddy girl. Sometimes she only wants me or Wes to hold her. Family or friends who want to hold her when she's not in to it know pretty quick how she feels about it! haha In fact, around 5 pm every night, Wes puts her to sleep for her 5 pm nap. NOBODY else is able to put her down for this one. No clue why. It's just the way it is! He's the only one she'll sleep for during that time.
- She's Long! She's wearing 6 month clothing already.
- She likes to slam her blanky into her face to sleep. If she's fussing, you can literally put the blanket right up in her face and she'll pass out.
- Slowly starting to take and enjoy the binki more and more.
- Really good at grabbing for toys and playing with them.
We love this little girl so much. I can't wait to see what she does next!!!!
