5 Months!

She's five months old!!!! She continues to impress us more and more every day with her sparkly personality and her ability to learn new things! Here's a little bit about her this month.

- She's very smiley. She'll smile at you for just looking at her. She flirts with everyone and when she smiles she smiles with her WHOLE FACE! 

- She's very alert and has been since day 1. You can't get anything past her. She's so aware of everyone and everything around her.

- She's now grabbing everything in her path. She even tries to take toys or sippy cups out of Liv's hands. Liv doesn't seem to mind as of now (she's always been really good at sharing), but soon I feel like she's not going to want to let Colette have any toy she wants. It's a small glimpse into my future of fighting for toys! 

- She's almost sitting all by herself! She's still a bit wobbly though so we have to sit close by. She'll sit up strong by herself on the couch and LOVES the view. It's like she was sick of rolling around on the floor all the time.

- She still loves baths. 

- She's still a chatterbox. Constantly talking.

- We're still working on sleeping through the night. She sleeps from 10 pm-4 am and then 4:30 to 9:30 am. She also takes three naps a day. She LOVES taking naps in her bed. She'd rather sleep there than anywhere else. 

- She rolls to her stomach almost immediately after laying her down. She's enjoying playing on her tummy more now too.

- She truly is such a happy kid. If she's over tired or hungry you'll KNOW IT, but other than that, she's such a joy. 

- She knows her name. We'll say a bunch of names in the same voice and then say hers and she will WHIP her head around so fast. 

- She's still on a breastmilk only diet. I think we'll be starting cereal soon though. She's really starting to take interest in our food.
