2 Months!

She's 2 months old! The time has flown by. Colettie (as we like to call her) has been such a sweet addition to our family. 

Here is what she's up to:

- Schedule: 

Starts grunting and squirming around a little at 6 am (Wes takes her downstairs and puts her in the rocking seat while he works. She falls back to sleep)

Wakes up for her first feeding around 9 or 10

Has her first feeding and proceeds to be really smiley from 9-11

11 am naps for a while

1 or 2 pm feeding

2-4 pm dozes in and out of sleep

5 pm feeding and usually awake for a while

8:30 pm starts getting a little fussy and eats a little here and there for an hour or so (her fussy period has drastically diminished...THANK GOD. She's still a little fussy here and there during this time but nothing to really complain about.)

9:30 pm falls asleep usually after some bouncing on the exercise ball for a bit

10:00 - 10:30 pm in bed

2 or 3 am feeding and back to bed!

- She's SO SMILEY in the morning. 

- When she's hungry...SHE'S HUNGRY!!! This girl has a set of lungs and isn't afraid to use them! Wow she can clear a room! haha Liv NEVER got this loud. She would just cry so hard she would go silent. This one SCREAMS at such a high pitch. It kind of makes us laugh because it's so unbelievable. Luckily she doesn't cry too often. 

- She's busy. When she's awake and siting in her chair, her legs and arms are constantly going. She's talking, laughing, smiling at the ceiling and full-on flailing her arms/legs.

- As of now it looks as if she'll have brown eyes! 

- She LOVES her big sister. She lights up every time Liv comes around.

- She'll easily take a pumped bottle, but prefers to breastfeed. When she has a bottle, she's eating around 4 to 4.5 oz. 

- Still only sleeps 4-5 hours at night. 

- Likes to hold something soft in her hand when she sleeps. She usually pulls it up and over her face. Kind of freaks me out and I always end up pulling it off her face as I'm scared she'll suffocate (even though it's usually nowhere near her mouth or nose. lol). 

- She's very aware of her surroundings. If someone walks by, she immediately locks her eyes on them and follows them until she can't see them anymore. She's so observant and quick. 

- She loves to be held! 

- She LOVES a good clean diaper. This sounds weird (and slightly gross), but Liv didn't seem to care at all what was in her diaper. She wouldn't mind sitting in her poop all day (and no, that never happened...but you get the point). Colette doesn't like it one bit and gets a bit fussy until you change her. As soon as you finish wiping and put a fresh diaper on her demeanor completely changes and she's the smiliest girl around! All fresh and clean! :)

- She's our peanut! haha. We call her our skinny-minny. Sounds funny to say since she's a big baby but this girl doesn't have nearly the amount of chub and rolls Liv had. She's almost an inch longer and a half pound lighter than Liv was at this age. 

Height: 24.5 inches (95-100+ percentile) She's technically off the chart on this one.
Weight: 12 lbs 7 oz (90-95 percentile)
Head: 16.25 inches (95-100 percentile)

We couldn't love her more!
