What a great weekend! We've literally spent every minute of it out in the sun! As crappy as this winter/spring was, a good Seattle summer sure does make up for it. They are the BEST!!!!!
We met my dad, Val and sister Jo for a little park visit this morning after church. Liv had fun in her first real swinging experience where she was actually old enough to enjoy it!
Then we were off! In a HIGHLY spontaneous move, we decided to take a ferry over to Bainbridge island for some sun, a little shopping and a fabulous lunch!
This was also Liv's first ferry ride! She LOVED the wind. She smiled the whole way over!

Here is where we ate lunch. SUCH good food! YUM! It was so amazing. We took our time, had a glass of wine and just enjoyed eating outside with the best view. Liv was perfection. She colored and enjoyed the people watching.
After lunch, we walked around the little town and stopped for some VERY fresh, locally made ice cream. Liv ate half of my cone!
Then Liv drove us home...
PS. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my beautiful sister, Michaela!!!! She enjoyed her birthday weekend in Manhattan. Rough life! Hope you had a great one, sissy! Love you!

gotta love seattle summers, there's nothing more beautiful, I miss them!! Glad to see it's finally sunny up there, you guys deserve it!! Looks like a fun day, gorgeous pics!!!
