Colette 11 Months

- started walking 8-10 steps around 10 and a half months! She's been working on walking less "drunkin sailor" and more walking calmly. If she needs to get somewhere FAST she still drops down and crawls there. (Started full time walking about 11 months 1 week)
- likes to say num num num when hungry and while eating
- walks you over to her high chair when she's hungry
- Getting better at going backwards down stairs. Gets bored with it and nose dives after two
- loves sitting on any chair or couch like "big girls do"
- so happy. content little girl. But don't cross her! Feisty one!
- loves her big sister and all that she does
- started becoming more of a daddy's girl our of nowhere. I'm still her favorite...
- very smart. can't get anything past her. watches and learns how to do anything very quickly
- loves to wear a purse and bracelet
- loves to be outside. DIES to go play outside. Fusses at the slider until I let her out! Thank God it's summer!
- doing bettter at not puting everthing in her mouth. at least stops when we tell her to
- still naps twice a day. 10-11/11:30 and 1:30-3ish
- bed at 8, up 7:45/8
- Wears 12-18 month clothes for most brands. Can still do some 6-12 pants.
- Still has hazel eyes
- loves attention but is getting better and going off and playing for a while. Checks in every once in a while.
- likes music and dancing!
- starting to see glimmers of thrwoing fits. If you take something away or leave the room and she wants to go, you will know about it. Sits down, looks at the ground and cries so loud!
- starting to push back on liv when she's bugging her or pulling on her.

Colette had surgery on her bladder the first week of June. She had reflux in her Ureter tubes which allowed her urine to pass up and down to the kidneys (which isn't good. It should only go down from kidney to bladder). We were obviously so incredibly nervous but knew it was the best thing for her. The surgery lasted about three hours and THANK GOD everything went really well and we only spent one night in the hospital. She truly amazed me the entire time! She had a rough hour or so after surgery and was really sleepy (which was so sad because she would just stare at the ceiling and rest with all the drugs). Once the heavy meds wore off she was really "back" rather quickly. She did so well and really bounced back quickly. Kids are so resilient! She was literally bouncing around and back to being herself within three days! You would never even know she had major surgery. So now that's past us and we are looking forward to taking her off the daily antibiotics at the end of this month! Phew!
