I'm a little late on this, but here we go! She's 8 months!! This little girl is seriously a BALL of SUNSHINE!! She's our sparky and so very full of life! She's also a busy, busy girl who needs to constantly explore and see what's going on at all times. Here's a little more about our girl this month.
- sleeping great!
- Unfortunately, she had another UTI this month. :( My poor baby was pretty sick for about a week but bounced right back after some good meds. We have an appointment with her urologist next week to discuss next steps regarding her reflux. She might need to have surgery sooner rather than later. We just aren't sure yet.
- She's zooming around and trying to get into everything. She can crawl really fast and loves to try and catch up with her sister.
- She can't stand being left out of the action. If Liv and I are reading a book, she'll B-line it over to us and crawl right on TOP of the book so she can be in the middle of the action.
- She LOVES going into Liv's room. She squeels and jumps up and down when we walk down the hall to liv's room to get her after nap.
- When she's hungry or wants a nap, she crawls up to us and headbutts her forhead into our shins.
- She loves to climb up on her knees on everything and has taken some decent tumbles. (Update: She is now climbing up on her feet and trying to walk along furniture)
- She's finally eating more food! She's starting to be a lot more interested in baby food and LOVES mum mums and puffs.
- She's still wearing some 6-12 month clothing. 12 month clothes fit but are rather loose still.
- She's so unpredictable at times. She will gently stroke your face and look so sweet and then make a growl and attack your face with her hand or a big, wet kiss.
- We started calling her coco loco because she can be crazy at times!
- She wants to be in the middle of everything liv is doing
- She loves books.
- She's such a snuggler when she's tired. Every once in a while she will crawl over to me for a quick hug and then she's back down crawling over for more play time. Oh how I love that.
- We are still not sure what color her eyes are going to be. They look green/brown/hazel as of now. They are blue/grey outside and yellow/brown inside. She has light brown hair (with auburn highlights) and the SOFTEST skin ever.
- She's a talker and has started saying mama mama (accidentally I'm sure but I love it as she's said da da da forever!)
- She learned how to clap and is so excited to do it for you!
- Gives the best slobbery kisses and nuzzles my face when she's tired.
- Still sleeping from 8/8:30 pm to 7/7:30 am. She has also started taking 3 naps a day again. (went down to two longer ones for a bit and is now back to three shorter ones)
We just love her so dang much!!!!!
